The Brief

We worked closely with our client to fully understand their vision for their new office space. They were relocating from a listed building that no longer met the needs of the business and wanted their new workplace to better reflect how they operate and support future growth.

Creating a strong wow factor was a key priority, while still delivering a practical and functional environment for their team. To help refine the brief, we arranged a visit to the legendary Clerkenwell showrooms in London, giving the client the opportunity to experience different furniture solutions first-hand and explore options for standout features such as meeting booths.

The brief focused on achieving a well-balanced layout, with an open-plan workspace, alongside a range of meeting rooms and a boardroom for more focused work. In addition, the client wanted a dedicated staff area where employees could relax, play games and enjoy their breaks.

The Visualisation

With the new building offering a complete blank canvas, our design team had the opportunity to be truly creative in developing the overall vision for the space. A key focus was ensuring the environment felt welcoming and engaging, achieved through the use of warm, earthy tones throughout, complemented by carefully selected feature colours to create standout areas.

A mix of textures, in-wall features and wallpapers were introduced to add depth, interest and continuity across the building. Feature lighting played an important role in the design, helping to define different zones and create a variety of unique and inviting spaces.

To help the client visualise the final outcome and confidently present the concept to the wider Director team, we produced a series of detailed 3D renders. These brought the design to life and clearly communicated the vision to the directors ahead of delivery.

The Realisation

The finished office successfully delivers the wow factor the client was looking for, while remaining a highly practical and functional space for day-to-day working. The final result is a workplace that not only supports the needs of the business but also creates a visually impressive and enjoyable environment for staff and visitors alike. We are extremely proud of the outcome and of the collaborative journey from initial design through to final delivery.

Alongside the visible transformation, a significant amount of work took place behind the scenes to enhance the building’s overall performance and compliance. This included a full strip out to allow improvment of the building’s mechanical, ventilation and electrical infrastructure, ensuring fire stopping measures met current regulations, and confirming that all works fully adhered to building control requirements.
