The Brief
Following the successful refurbishment of two offices spaces for uCheck previously they approached us when they had the opportunity to expand into the ground floor area of their building.
They were looking to create a space that dealt with the requirement to create separate spaces for workforce as we came out of lockdowns following the covid 19 pandemic, this space was to function as a meeting suit going forward that could also function as quiet working space as an alternative area for staff to their busy open plan office space.
The Visualisation
We set t work creating some different ideas and visuals for the client, working with them there were a few incarnations of the plan before we were set on one to go forward, we wanted to build continuity with the already refurbished first floor space whilst also giving it a new and different feel, it was important to the client that this space felt more private and calm than the upstairs space and had a flexible function.
The Realisation
The finished design offered a comprehensive meeting suite with reception area and social space. A small tea point functions to serve the suites with the larger first floor tea point supporting staff further. The water and beaches theme spoke to the local area of the offices and with easy connectivity throughout this enables the space to be used as working hot desks or meeting rooms giving flexibility.
